This album is a sampler of instrumental songs born out of key moments of my personal journey, dealing with brokenness, hope, surrender, through a life of seeking wholeness like so many others.

It is a FREE gift for those on the journey to wholeness or seeking soul-whispering music. Hope it is a helpful lullaby, a merciful mirror, a tool providing validation, light and a sense of the awareness of being, anchored in an identity which reaches beyond the inevitable wounds and pain that are common to all humans.

ARTS AS CANVAS FOR THE SOUL, SUBSTANCE OF REVELATION

Give children crayons and paper and they don't need a course in perspectives - they will start "speaking" through forms and colors.

Arts are a canvas for the soul to project some of its inner self onto a tangible, manifested form, that can be interfaced with and revisited. A mysterious alchemy of sorts, it can give us a deeper sense of reality about memories that exist beyond words but inhabit our psyche and our bodies.

Music has a way to calibrate my soul, but especially an acoustic piano. As a young teenager carrying years of abuse and bullying, Tourette, ADHD, and trying to beat a stutter. I turned to playing piano by ear, initiated to it by my older brother, finding there both a soothing of the soul in the resonant sound, and a voice of my own.

So this music is mostly autobiographical.

Years later it dawned on me that, to some measure, fragments of my personal stories are embedded in my artworks, the energy of past wounds, of hopes, of unresolved crisis, are hidden in the creative vehicle of music and other artforms, and can be evoked again. Until one day, out of the pain, healing.
